Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Illinois
do i get my security deposit back if i stayed in a home for 3mnths. Since day1 the owner has been in&out the home without reason or emergency. I also had several things missing. We had talks about it he(owner) WOULD NOT stop COMING IN so the locks was changed until we can come up with something compromising,safe&secure.We COULDNT ,so we were giving a 10 day notice of termination of tenancy do i get my security deposit back if i leave or when i leave.
