Legal Question in Mediation in Illinois

sex tape.

when i was 16 i was coerced into

making a sex tape with another 16

year old. you can clearly see on the

tape that i was under the influence

of alcohol and that i was more than

underage. that tape has ruined my

life, i had to change school and

explain it to my family. there were

never any charges pressed. i am

now 20 years old and i want this

tape back because it still haunts me

to this day. i did some research and

found out that it is now considered

child pornography.. is this true? and

what can i do to get this tape back?

Re: sex tape.

Well, there are a few problems that you will run into.

First of all, the original tape needs to be found and you may have to get a court order if the owner does not want to give it up.

Second, if any copies were made, you will need to go through the same process to get those (one court order should do it for the original and copies).

The third piece is that the tape could be on the internet. If it is, the easiest thing will probably be to say that it is child pornography.

The hardest part will be finding all the copies. If you want to talk about working this out, please feel free to call.
