Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Illinois

I'm in Illinois and my pediatrician is with holding my son and daughters medical records due to unpaid balances. Is this legal?

This is not legal. As legal guardian of your children you have a right to those records. A formal request pursuant to HIPPAA should do the trick. [email protected]
