Pain Suffering Compensation

What is the alloted dollar amount for pain and suffering,for docter negligence,incuring nerve damage to left index finger,in unsterile surgery procedures,requiring reconstuctive surgery by a plastic surgeon.A 2'' scar on palm of hand,and off work for 4 mo. with ongoing hosp. visits and a lot of grief.

There is no such thing as an "alloted dollar amount" for pain and suffering. The value of pain and suffering is the value of your pain--there are no formulas to calculate it. Whay you have to do is to come up with a reasonable number which will satisfy you. An attorney in that field is in a better position to negotiate than you because the value placed in a case in general has something to do with what can be proven to what extent at trial if negotiations were to fail. By yourself, you will no doubt end at a disadvantage.

You should consult with an attorney before you agree or sign anything.
