Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois
My boyfriend had an accident in his car and he went to the hospital the morning after. The hospital listed that he had acohol in his system. He has to submit the hospital admission form to the insurance company. Will they still cover the damages?

They may refuse if the amount of alcohol was in excess of the legal limit. If your BF has a copy of his policy, he should consult it and see what it says regarding any possible exclusions based on alcohol consumption.

It will depend on what kind of insurance. The Bodily Injury coverage in Illinois auto policies does not have an exclusion for alcohol usage. However, Medical Payments may have such a restriction. Read your policy to see if there is any exclusionary language.
