Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I have a two count complaint in the CIRCUIT COURT can I add a cause of action for Due Process violations (42 USC 1983)

I have a complaint for spolation of evidence and false imprisonment in the CIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. I would like to add a cause as count III labled: Count III � VIOLATIONS OF 42 U.S.C. 1983: Due Process Rights IS this possible in the circuit court? Do you have a form for such a cause of action? Are there imporant points such as jurisdiction I have to address in the complaint?

Your inquiry is far too complex for this forum. You need to provide specifics to an attorney in person as I am sure additional questions will arise once you do so. There are some excellent law libraries available in Cook County and I suggest that you use one of them to find forms and pleading requirments.
