Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Dr. wrote incorrect medical info

I was in auto accident 10/06 (other driver at fault). I had just finished up with other ortho dr. from a prior WC injury. But I have two new injuries as a result of the accident(elbows and ankle-achilles). Well the orthopedic surg. tx. & recommended PT from dec 06 to July 06. and throughout this, they said verbally both were related. However as it comes closer to d/c now they say elbows aren't. (in the records, it is written ambiguously) The test show my left arm has ulna damage (the ortho says that was already there but I have never had any problems with eblows before), the right arm isn't showing up on the test but having similar symptoms. They never did anything with elbows in theraphy other than sched EMG. He would always say we would address the other areas and get back to them-never did. When I questioned the Ortho he did not like that and d/c me without any further care. And now I am having difficulty finding another ortho to treatment me let alone give a second opinion of if they feel its related. It;s like I know it's related and they said it was orginially but now they aren't. So please help any advice or any website for ortho;s that I can ask questions etc? Any comments welcomed

Re: Dr. wrote incorrect medical info

Although it may seem straightforward, you have a complex medical picture. It is really too complicated to get through in a short post. I recommend retaining an attorney to go through your medical records and perhaps meet with your doctor.

If you wish, you can contact me for a no-cost consultation.
