Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

My father gave me a car a 1995 station wagon. He gave me the title but i never transfered it over, but i sold it to a friend. She didnt have the money then so i told her to keep it in her garage and do not drive it until she get the money to tranfer it over in her name, but she drove it and hit a light pole and the city has ticketed my father for 3,000 ,even though his plates wasnt on there. And on the report they have the gurl name that was in the car of the accident,so im trying to clear my father name from this.Is there anyway to get her to pay that ticket i got her address and cell phone # and plus she gave the police a fake name.

You broke the law when you did not transfer title to you when your father gave the car to you. your friend broke the law when she failed to register the car. You say they have her name on the report yet she gave a fake name. That makes no sense. Your Dad has to prove you violated the law, and then you have to testify that you violated the law.
