Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I think my lawyer is trying to keep my money, won from law suit

I was in a car accident 4 years ago.My lawyer gets 33.3% of the law suit. She had left her firm after she had taken my case and started her own law practice. The case is over now after 4 years and now she is telling me that one of her old firms partners wants his cut and she is trying to tell me that I am responsible for paying it. She also told me that if this old firm partner wins the case, he could put a freeze on my money. There is alot more to this story.Last week she recieved the check and I had to sign it over to her and she said after she totals up exspensies for 4 years, I will recieve my cut.I am not sure what I should do, could I demand my money and tell her when she has all documentation together for her exspensies I will cut her a check.I believe I am not responsible to pay this other lawyer. I feel it is her responsibility, because she left the firm and took most clients with her. Could she lose her law liscense for doing that. What chance do I have in getting my money and making sure that I do not get raked over the coals. Please answer as soon as possible, because I am so worried that she is going to try and keep ALL my money. Thank you

I think you only have to pay one fee of one third, total, plus expenses. Call me if you want help.
