Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Is the owner of a business in Illinois responsible for medical bills if a customer falls on the property in the parking lot and is taken to the hospital with a concussion and cervical strain to the back of neck.

Insufficient information but if the business owner controls the lot and creates an unreasonable risk to business invitees, yes very possibly. But that is what business owners should have insurance for: premises liability. Then again, if this is a parking lot in a shopping center with multiple tenants, often the injured party will "sue everyone" (business owner/tenant, shopping center owner, manager....) as the injured party will usually not know who is responsible to owe the injured party the duty of care.....

Only if the owner of the business was somehow responsible for the fall or created a dangerous condition causing the fall.
