hoe long after the accident do you have to file. Do you file against the insured and the driver? Do you file in your home county or where the accident happened.

You have 2 years from the date of the collision to file a complaint with the clerk of the court for injuries, and 4 years for property damage. You may file either with the clerk of the court for the county in which the collision occurred, or the county in which the other driver resides.
