Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

I purchased a car for my 20 year old daughter, I put the car in her name and the policy will be in her name with me listed as an additional driver, If she is in an accident, am I going to be legally responsible for anything that may transpire from that accident?

If your name is listed as an owner of the vehicle, you will be a named defendant in any lawsuit based on your daughter's actions and will be responsible for any judgment resulting from that lawsuit.

You are not owner of the said car, so as owner you will not be legally responsible. But as a driver If you claimed that at the time of accident you driving the car then you may face Legal case.
