Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Rear Ended

I was rear ended in an accident on July 14th. Of course I am going through unbearable pain right now and don't know whether I should get a lawyer or not. The insurance company that the person had who hit me is not the best. What should I do to get whats due to me?

Re: Rear Ended

You will be most better off if you consult with an attorney. If you are hurting, you must go to your nearest emergency room and have yourself checked out. Do not wait--any delay will be used against you by the insurance company to show that you are lying or that you are not injured to the extent you claim.

Get yourself medical care immediately. Then consult with an attorney to see what are your options.

My office can help you sort things out if you need more guidance.

I hope this helps,

Re: Rear Ended

You should seek out an attorney.

A few steps to take, keep detailed records and receipts. Make a journal of the events, names of witnesses, etc.

Your attorney will need to discover the full extent of your injury, notify the opposing party & insurance company of a potential cause of action. Contact me at the contact below and I'll be happy to give you a free consultation regarding your case.
