Legal Question in Personal Injury in Illinois

Theater Liability

I was injured while on the premises of a theater. As I was walking into our theater, another gentleman, in a rush, was exiting the theater. There isn't visibility on either side of the doors. The door slammed open and unfortunately my foot, namely my big toe, got caught in the door and ripped the whole nail out of the nail bed. People have told me that I can't hold the guy responsible but I'm stuck with all the emergency room bills and hospital visits. Do I have any legal basis to look to the theater to cover these costs?

Re: Theater Liability

Possibly. I would need to have a picture of the entranceway and door in order to provide an opinion.
