Legal Question in Product Liability in Illinois

I took my game console to a repair shop in May of last year. It was returned fixed to me within 2weeks. Within 2 weeks it malfunctioned again and I returned to the same repair shop so they could fix it again. At the time I had a 30day warranty from that repair shop that was given to me when I picked up my console the first time it was repaired. I was told it wouldn't take long. It's been over 6 months that I took my console in to be repaired a second time. I spoke with the owner of the repair shop and was told that my console is gone. I was also told that he, the owner, would not try to locate it, repair it and return it to me. What can I legally do to recover my console and have it repaired at no cost?

You will need to sue them in small claims if they refuse to return your property.

Sounds like a conversion to me. Sue him in small claims court for the value of the property.
