Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

In 2002, I bought a house in IL with my then boyfriend. In 2005 we split and he stayed in the house. We decided he would stay in the house and takeover payments and he would pay me the 10% I put down on the house. I have yet to see this money and he has been late on payments in the past. Am I entitled to this money, how do I go about getting the money and get my name off the house.

There are three ways to accomplish what you want. He can refinance, the two of you can agree to sell or you can force a sale by filing a foreclosure suit.
