Enter your question here...I live in my grandmad house she just passed away i am listed in the will but i am not the executor she said i Could have her cuckoo clock i live in the house and have direct access to the clock. can i take it legally

Sounds like it was a nice gift she intended for you. You should ask the executor because most wills say that before anything can be distributed to the beneficiaries the decedent's final bills need to be paid and if the clock is valuable and needs to be sold to pay for those things the executor could be liable for the value of the clock. If the estate has enough money to pay for those bills, then getting the clock should not be an issue, but again this is something the executor needs to figure out.
