Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

Our neighbor complained that our pine tree has branches growing over the fence into her yard that at low height and the needles and cones from the tree fall on her side of the fence. How much am I responsible to do? My responsibility vs. her rights.

Forget about rights and responsibility. Simple solution, trim your branches so that they are entirely in your side. Why anyone would want to argue over this is beyond me. Especially, since you state that they are at a low height.
