Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

neighbors patio is on my property line due to bad construction by builder i am installing a 6ft fece .should i allow her to have the space even though its on my property line and is of little concern to me except any liability on my part.

That is a decision for you to make. You can give her an easment and have an attorney draw up a contract or you can sell that part of your property to her. You can also ask her to move the patio. She can talk to her builder about correcting the situation.
