Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I am renting a house that is in foreclosure. The owner has fled the country. Am I within my rights to find another place to live and break the lease? The property is in a Chicago suburban area.

You shoudl see an attorney so that your particular circumstances can be reviewed. Many properties in foreclosure end up having the floreclosure action dropped and the mortgage reworked.
