Selling on contract

If some one is executer of estate and they want to sell a property on contract what do they have to do?

First, they sign a Contract. Then the Seller's (estate's) real estate attorney will check with the title company to see what they require. Sometimes paperwork from the title company is enough, sometimes probate court approval is required.

If the estate is unsupervised, the executor can sign the contract and proceed. If supervised, court approval is necessary.
