Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Illinois

I own a town house and am replacing the patio door. The contractor picked the exterior color and I find it will not match the one there. What is my liability to match the color already there. Supplied the order book and color that the contractor selected to the HOA board for approval, it was given.

Sounds like you did the right thing by getting the HOA to approve it, especially of there are appearance regulations. Good for you!!! Could someone still complain? Sure, but with the HOA having given its blessing you should be ok.
