Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Illinois

Hello, I got accused of sexual assault but I did not do it. The boy said he was 8 and I was 12 at the time but he is lying . Now I am 16 years old and the police arrested me and took me they took my finger prints and they didn't tell me what was going on . I got scared so I ran from the police and never went to court. Is it bad if I go back and is it possible for me to win this case . Also will my case be open for ever once again I am innocent !
