2. Invalid Registration

3. No Motorcycle License

4. Faliure To Reduce Speed To Avoid Accident

The Bike Was Not Mine and i would like to know if the first two are my resposibility. The second two i would like to know what the maximum penalty is and if i can lose my license. Since at the time of accident i am 20, but i turn 21 two days before the court date

Re: Multiple Offenses In Motorcycle Accident

Regarding the first two tickets: If you operate a motor vehicle, you are responsible for its safety, insurance and licensing. You should see if your friend had insurance on the day of the accident. If so, bring it to court and that matter will be dismissed. If you have insurance on another vehicle and that insurance covers you when you operate a motorcycle, regardless of who owns it, bring that to court. Regarding the registration, hopefully your friend will comply with that, you bring proof that he did, and most judges will treat that issue kindly. Regarding operating outside your classification, depending how it was charged, it may be a misdemeanor which has a potential jail sentence, possibly up to 364 days. The failure to reduce speed is likely a petty offense which has a maximum fine of $500. You should have a lawyer in court to protect your licensing interests.
