Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

My son received a speeding ticket and got court supervision, which ends on 10/9. He received a ticket for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and unlawful number of passengers (he is 18) on 9/11. His court date for those tickets is soon. He has traffic school on 10/7 for the first supervision. The tickets were in different, adjacent counties. What should we do? I thought maybe if the conviction for the second ticket was after 10/9, he may not have his supervision revoked for the first one.

Hire an attorney. When the court sees this is his second offense things can get sticky, and if he's a new driver and younger, he could lose his license. Don't play with fire. Otherwise there isn't enough information to be precise.
