Legal Question in Traffic Law in Illinois

I was ticketed for driving on suspended license and a 2nd no insurance. The reason I was pulled over was for my tail light. My tail light is across the whole back of the car. There is about 4'' that doesn't work and that is just off the center of it. Can I get out of the tickets? I shouldn't have been pulled over. The only reason I was driving was I was my girl friend kicked out.

In my experience the charges against you will not be thrown out on the basis that only a part of your tail light was broken. Still, you should hire an attorney. The attorney may be able to ontain a disposition of the charges so that you avoid convictions and avoid having your license suspended again or revoked. If your charges are in a court where I regularly practice, I might be able to offer my services for a reasoble fee. Please feel free to contact me.
