Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Attorney who wrote will must execute?

If you prefer a different law office to execute a will that another law office wrote and has possession of, what is required to switch offices. My father (whose will this question is regarding) died 3/13/07

It is perfectly acceptable for you to use a different attorney, unless the attorney is named in the will. Even then you could get a court to change this.

please email me if you have any other questions.

Simple. Just contact the attorney you prefer, and he or she will contact the other attorney to obtain the original will.
