entitlement to funds from the estate

If uncle had placed accounts in joint owner with right of survivor, as an estate paln, and addressed the accounts in his Will, but had to use the money to pay for the care of himself through out the years, before he died, so the accounts were closed many years ago. Are the people that were listed as right of survivor entiled to any money from the estate.
