Parents debts

If one parent dies are the children eepected to pay off all debt? If parents' do not have a will, life insurence, or any other type of estate are their children responsible?

Hello. No. The children are not expected to

pay off debts of parent. However, an estate

should be opened to allow creditors to make

a claim against the estate. This is a 3 step
