Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

My siblings had a new will/trust prepared after my mother was diagnosed with dementia. She is also legally blind and had no hearing aids at the time. Is there any way to find out if the trust is revocable or irevocable? Is any of this on file in Cook County? Please reply.

If your mother is still alive, then nothing will be on file. The will/trust can't really be challenged during your mother's life, but you could consider whether it's appropriate to file for a guardianship and then the guardian can look into her estate plan. Otherwise, any challenge would be initiated after your mother's death.
