Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Thirty three months away my sister was appointed administrater of our mothers estate.Everything was settled over a year and a half ago. when she was doing the final accounting she changed her mind three times ,that when I got worried,She wanted $16,000 for doing nothing. She hasn't shown anybody a bank statement since 2012.In december 18th 2012 the lawyer went in to be removed from the case and the judge set a new date for her to get a lawyer and compel documents. We found out for two years the lawyer never renewed her bound. On Jan 30th,2014 she had a court date and never show up, Judge left it blank and had no further action found out part of the case is missing.Three of us think she spent the money. Now we don't know what to do and could the judge be doing anytging?

You probably need to go into court to make further demands, including possibly having her removed as administrator. The court is not going to do anything unless an interested person presses the matter.

Hire a probate attorney in the county in which the matter is pending. You need to address your concerns without any more delay.
