Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Illinois

Hello,

I was told by my estate lawyer that there is an issue with the estate that was wild to me by my friend who passed away, that there is an older will from 20+ years ago giving the estate to three other people that the old will lawyers did not get rid of, is this something worth fighting? This sounds very fishy to me, should I be concerned? what is the normal protocol for this?

What do you mean by "older will"? If there is a more recent Will which is valid and not contested, then the more recent Will controls everything and the "older will" should have no effect.

It sounds like the beneficiaries of a former will are attempting to have the more recent will invalidated. You urgently need to assert yourself by hiring your own lawyer. There are deadlines involved. You may schedule a free consultation with me by going to www.legacylaws.com.
