New Will versus quit claim deed

does a new recorded will override

a quit claim deed recorded years ago concerning property?

The quit claim was to be administered upon fathers death but he since made a new will giving property to his spouse.

no..."prior in time is prior in right". if the deed is already recorded ther is nothing to do
