If you have not been paid in over ten months, an attorney can file an emergency motion called a 19(b) in order to get you paid the compensation you've lost from work. You are entitled to 2/3 of your average weekly for the one year before your accident.

Ultimatley, if you feel you are not getting anywhere with your current attorney, you may seek the assistance of a different attorney. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Good luck to you.

If your lawyer hasn't gotten the case ready for trial it's probably time to change. Good news is that it doesn't cost anything to switch. If you want us to recommend someone for you call me at (800) 517-1614. I have a state wide network of attorneys that focus on work comp and while I can't guarantee a result, they are all aggressive and experienced at trying cases.

As my other peers have mentioned you may want to look into switching to another attorney.

If you feel you wish to do so you may want to consult with a few and see which one is right for you.
