Legal Question in Family Law in India

chargesheet under section 498A - Fam Law

I am working in a Central Govt firm and my probation till not completed, will take six more months to complete. I am statying at Bangalore from the last 3 years continuesly. I married just before 11 months from Kerala.

Police registered case against me & my mother under section 498-A, 406 and 323 r/w section 34 of IPC on compliant of my wife.

I have already got anticipatory bail in this case on 22 Feb.

My question is that ''chargesheet against any government servant in criminal case in judicial court under above sections'' will effect his job? Here my probation period is not completed till now.

On last week, one police constable came to my house and told that they got a complaint agint us (againt me & my mother) under this harrasement sector from my wife. He told my mother to come police station with me, after I reaching local station (Kerala). What they are telling is, they will question us according to the complaint, and we want to sign there at police station, they will record it as a arrest and will release soon by the anticipatory bail and they want to give this report to Court. And they are telling that it will not affect my job also.

From the Court Order for the AB, I saw that, from our police station, SI has already send one report to court against us from availing the anticipatory bail. But after the enquiry from the constable in my locality, they are behaving with us in good manner.

From my office, My Officer tells as, tell them to contact my Office by mentioning this case details through proper channel. After that only I want to go to police station. I didn't get any call or communication from Police Station yet.

Do I need to go to police station? Please suggest.

Once you have obtained AB, police can call you for interrogation, and if you do not cooperate the AB can be cancelled. Yes, it will affect your job prospects.
