Judgement Reserved!

Why courts sometimes...or often ''Reserve'' Judgements? What is the purpose/motive/concept behind it? And, for how long court can 'hold' such judgements reserved, any rule or law about it? -Thanks

Judgements are reserved to deliever a reasoned, well thought out judgement after appreciating the rival contentions. There are no rules in this regard but it takes reasonable time according to the time available with the judge.

judgements are reserved when the judge need some time to read and deliver the judgement.

normally it should not be more then one or two months

Judgement is always delivered by a Judge after careful reading and anlizing the incidents and facts produced to him. Judgements ocationally reserved to deliever a well thought judgement. There are no such hidden concept in revercing Judgement.

There is no concept behind the Reserve judgment.It is just deffered due to heavy work load.That is why the judgements kept in reserve.
