Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in India

Dear friends,

I need to know the procedure for updation of one's age in official records, which is based on one's 10th class certification, which is sometimes subjected to errors of ommission or errors of commission by guardians and for which the individual concerned may not be considered to be at fault as the individual had not attained 18 years of age and may not be considered responsible for the act.

Please tell me the process to reverse and set right the age in official records and getting a blanket waiver or pardon for doing so, especially in the context of registering for UID(Unique Identity) issued by the Govt. of India.

Please guide me.

Regards,

Suresh

in case you have birth certificate from municipality, then that certificate may be used for rest of life as your birth certificate. On the basis of such birth certificate and furnishing an affidavit, you may get your date of birth changed in any or every record.
