Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in India

financial goof ups

I applied for UK visa recently, unfortunately thru' an agent.I signed a blank financial statement (which the agent promised he shall fill)that was to go along the papers.

Visa got rejected as to my horror I found out that he has filled 4 times

the figure as of my original income.

I had submitted my bank statements along which, obviously didn't match my income figure....

I didn't appeal as I knew I was wrong.Now I am applying again.

Kindly suggest how can I rectify my mistake. What explanation should be given foor the goof up?

Re: financial goof ups

Dear

There is no law which can accept such excuses and you will face problems if you go and state correct facts to High Commission people without taking any action against the said agent. However as suggested by others you can go and state correct facts to them outrightly. However in my opinion you should first issue a notice to the said broker/agent who has played fraud upon you and then file copy of all documents including the notice and response thereto with the high commission people.

It is best to tell them the true facts, supported by your bank statements.
