i received a copy of notice from court mentioning my name as one of the respondent. if i want the details of the writ petition what should I do?

You should have received a copy of the writ filed against you either along with the court summons.

You should appear in the court on the date fixed and tell the court that you have not received a copy. The court will order the writ petitioner to supply you a copy and will give you time to file reply.

It is mandatory to serve the copy of writ in advance before filing the same in HC and the copy is also sent along with notice.You may appear in court or through advocate and can brought this non receipt of copy of writ and can ask for another copy from court.

you have to appear before the court on teh date fixed and ask for copy of teh petition which the petitioner will be directed to furnish or you can also apply for the certified copy of teh same at your own cost
