Difference in Revenue and non judicial stamp
Will the acknowledgement of balance
confirmation of debt is invalid if stamp
duty is paid by way of cancellation of
revenue stamp in place of a non
judicial stamp paper

stamp duty is paid on such documents only by affixing Revenue stamp and the person signing the same across the stamp. The stamp can also be cancelled by putting a x on the same so that it cannot be used again. It does not require NJS paper
