What to do if part payment of a bounced cheque is recieved.....can we still redeposit the same cheque and file a case u/s 138 for cheque bouncing

in case you receive the part payment of the cheque in pursuant to legal notice, the option is to file a civil case only for the balance as the remedy to 138 is lost.

You have to suppress the part payment and they file 138 to force him to pay the balance and can withdraw the 138 later.
