Dear Sir / Madam,

If your father had inherited your grandfather's property in his name as the Owner vide proper documentation, it remains well within his right to deal with the property in the manner, he best deems fit. There is nothing you can do now, if he has already sold the property.

as you came to know of the sale now, your limitation to challenge the sale would start from the date you came to know of the sale. you can fight for your share in the ancestral property.
