Fixing of Split A/C

Hello,

I recently fixed two split A/C's in my flat. The external units were fixed outside. Some members of the Society now claim that the fixing of the units outside can cause weakening of the building's structure. Please advise if there is any rule against this.

Bye laws on building made by society or the authority granting permission to form society may be pursued.

Hello.

As far my knowledge there are no restrictions on fitting of a/c's in your flat. but if the society/association objects making a question of the building which is weak then i would advise you not to install another a/c.
