a insured truck was stolen by unknown accused . police failed to arrest and recover the truck from the accused.a FIR registered by police against the unknown person u\s 379 of IPC. the owner inform the insurance company about the theft after somedays of /*FIR and filed the claim to the company for theft of his vehicle. insurance company reject the claim on the ground of delay in intimation. now where i go for taking proper relief

after how many days u informed the insurance company? however u file case agaist them in consumer court and explain reasons for dalay if any on ur part and leave it to the court.
After how many days actually you informed the insurance company. the delay should be reasonable. further you can approach the Consumer Court for getting the issue resolved.
