Law of Contracts

On transaction some money is credited to my account of opposite party. Party wanted to settle the dispute at a stretch in writing. should i write my offer in writing to reciprocate the offer.

No,otherwise it will amount to admission which may be used against you if the conciliation fails for any reason.Get the things settled orally and the reduced the same in writing in the form of contract.
