Sir,
I wished to serve a legal to a courier co. who had issued me cheques twice in a period of one year as a refund of deposit paid by me get the franchisee but both the times those cheques bounced I wish to forward a legal notice to them regarding the same but the person with whom I have been interacting with all these days provided me an incorrect addresss what do I do in such situation , Please help.

you are not to worry as per the latest apex court judgement you serve notice on the last known address of the drawer of the cheque.even if the notice comes back undelivered due to addressee not residing there,you can file complaint 15 days period would be considered on the date of appearance of the accused in the court.This has been recently held by the apex court.
