Copy Right means exclusive right to do or authorise others to do certain things in realtion to Literary,musical and artistic works,Cinatograph films sound recodings,Brodcasting etc.

In India Copy Right Law came into force in 1957.

Copy Right is the part of Intellectual Property Laws.

The term of Copy Right is varies according to the nature of the work.

In case of literary,dramatic,musical or artistic works(other than photgraph) when it published during life time of author, Copy Right subsits during the Lifetime of the author plus 60 years.

As Intellectual property has its Universal aspect or scope so Copy Right has also.

it is beacuse India is the member of almost all Internatioanl Conventions relating to Copy Right & Intellectual property.
