Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India

Shall a court be questioned for their decision

I want to know whether a High Court shall be questioned for their judgment, if as a citizen of state I feel that it was ''discriminatory'' in nature.

To exaplain the situation, there was a ''judgment'' in Madras High Court recently ( I dont want to reveal what is it) which came as a remedy to a particular situation. When exactly such situation has occurred in the state recently, Madras High Court didnt offer the relief or remedy to other affected persons.

Would be amount to ''Contempt of Court'' if I file a ''Writ Petition'' challenging the wisdom of the court in that particular judgment.

Thanks

Srini

Dear Srini,

The legal remedy available to you is to file a PIL in the Supreme Court challenging the decision of the HIgh Court.I can advice you better if you can send the facts of the case.
