Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India

Guarantee Cheque

One of my friend had joined--name removed--private company 5 years ago and he was asked by the company to give--name removed--Cheque for 3,00,000 in the name of that company without any date and he had given the Cheque to the compay. After that there was no discussion with anybody about the cheque. Please inform if the company can misuse the cheque and in that case how my friend can save himself ?

Re: Guarantee Cheque

Dear Friend,

Please ask your friend to stop the payment of Cheque from the issuing Bank.

Ask him to cause a notice to the Company to which he has given blank cheque. if they donot respond to his notice ask him to file a complaint before the concerned authority.

Consult your local Advocate for further guidance.
