Legal Question in Constitutional Law in India
can a managing committee. postpone egm(sgm) on a request of 16 members out of total 44 members in a co op soc in mumbai, maharashtra? The request in writing was sent 4 days in advance of scheduled sgm.The reason for postponement was certain burning issues were not incorporated in agenda for immediate discussions for pending issues of more than a year. In spite of the request if egm /sgm is called is the same legal or null and void?

The managing committee cannot do any thing what they have done . All the acts of managing committee are null and void. You as member(s) can challenge the same.
